Another Week Gone By

Next week will be a busy one so be prepared!

Geometry:
We will be reviewing sec 4-6 and having a quiz on those sections.
We will start Section 7 where we will be learning perimeter, area and circumference.


Applied Math I:
We will be learning how to convert metric measurements. We will be having quiz on Tuesday and then, start reviewing Chpt. 2 for our Chapter test on Friday!!

Applied Math II:
We are finally finished with this chapter!!
We will be reviewing the chapter and having a chapter test this week!

Consumer Math:
We will be having a quiz Monday over finding base, percent and rate.
Starting new chapter Tuesday!

Progress Reports!!

As we all know progress reports are out! Good Job!! Keep up the good work! Don't give up it has only been three weeks.

Geometry Class needs to be preparing for their quiz on Friday. We will go over everything on Thursday.

Applied I will be working on power of ten and scientific notation.

Applied II we will be working on probabilities.

Consumer Math is working with percents and decimals. You are going to be learning how to figure a tip at a restaurant and also working on commission. Also, you will learn to figure the down payment on a loan.

What is happening Monday!!

Geometry:
Since we had activity Friday we are having Quiz today!!
Starting Section 5 over basic constructions.
constructing congruent segments and angles with our compass.

Applied Math I:
Learning about scientific notation and power of ten

Applied Math II:
Starting section 6: The addition Principle of Counting
Learning about the probability of A and B, counting choices, mutually exclusive events.

Consumer Math:
Starting percents and changing to decimals. Learning to figure how much is expected for a downpayment on loans. Will learn what percent to leave for tip at resturaunt.

Applied Math I:

TEST!! over chapt. 1

Applied Math II:

Start working with Experimental Probability.
with inferential statistics use random sampling to predict trends.

Consumer Math:

Quiz!! over rounding decimal places
Finish with fractions and move on to percents
